Inspiration: This title “Birds of a Feather” reminds me of our friendship with these dear friends as we enjoy so many of the same things as they do.

The background scrapbook paper is from DCWV Lemon Flower Stack, the peacock is made with DCWV Saffron Stack and the Flamestitch paper is from Recollections Boho Paper Pad. The feather and the peacock image are from Cricut Art Nouveau cartridge. The frames are from Elegant Edges. The great title is from Straight From The Nest.

Inspiration: The beautiful colour of this flower and nature itself. I tried to come up with something that would also be seen in nature and did the bird.

This scrapbook paper is from Craft Smith Sweet Soiree. The large frame is from Elegant Edges and the bird on a branch is from Spring Cottage. I love that cartridge. The title is from Groovy Times and I used a Martha Stewart circle punch called rounded leaf for the background circle. I like how this page turned out.

Inspiration: I really wanted to use the Julie Nutting dolls stamps and so I thought it worked with this girlfriend page.

The scrapbook papers on these pages are from DCWV Violet Leaf and DCWV Cherry Limeade Stacks. This is my first attempt at stamping, since I saw these Julie Nutting dolls stamps and fell in love with them. You have to stamp the doll on the body coloured paper and then again on each pattern or colour for the outfit, hair and shoes. Then you cut each part out with scissors and reassemble the dolls outfit. Like playing with Paper Dolls! I am still experimenting with them. The title “Girlfriends” is from Cricut Paisley cartridge. I used Kiwi Lane templates and a Martha Stewart beaded ruffle punch on this page. The oval behind the doll is from Cricut French Manor.

Inspiration: The soft sea foam  green of the leaves in the photo and this region is considered a rainforest, hence the mushrooms.

The scrapbook paper on this page is from Craft Smith Sweet Mint. I love the large leaf image from Cricut Traveler and the beautiful mushroom border from Wall Décor & More. I used Kiwi Lane templates for the waves and Martha Stewart double loops & anemone border punches on this page. I also used her Bangle chain punch. I embossed the gold layer and raise the leaf and mushrooms off the page.

Inspiration: These photos were of nature and I tried to come with images I might see in the woods.

The scrapbook paper on this page is from Craft Smith Flutterbloom. Both the Bambi deer and butterfly are from Cricut Disney Classics cartridge. The frame is from Elegant Edges. I used a Martha Stewart pansy border punch on the border and it’s matching corner punch on the large picture. I embossed, inked and lifted the images.

    Inspiration: The waterfall behind us.

The scrapbook paper is from DCWV Lemon Flower Stack and DCWV Fiesta Stack. The title “The Great Outdoors” with the tree is from Cricut Graphically Speaking. The bridge image is from Ornamental Iron. The large wave is from Traveler and is my homage to the waterfall. The smaller flourishes are from Straight From The Nest. I used a large Martha Stewart heart border punch to mat photos. I embossed, inked and raised a frame on this page.

Inspiration: The little red bird on the paper for this page inspired me to do a cardinal.

This scrapbook paper is from DCWV Gilded Orchard Stack. I cut the pretty border from a sheet of paper with scissors. The tree images are from Cricut Doodlecharms and the branch for the bird is from Give A Hoot. The cardinal is one if 7 from 50 States cartridge. ( North Carolina) I used a Martha Stewart circle punch Flower Arches to make the red circles.

Inspiration: I guess I am in my bug phase as I am using images of the great bugs in the cartridge Garden Soup on many of the pages in this scrapbook.

This scrapbook paper is from DCWV Fiesta Stack and sei Bright Blossoms Pad. The cute grasshopper and title “Nature” are from Cricut Garden Soup. The beautiful fern image is from Botanical. I used Kiwi Lane templates on these pages. I punched circles with a corner punch from Martha Stewart.

Inspiration: There were so many bees around these flowers.

This background scrapbook paper is from Paper Studio Sunbeam Meadow Pad. The flowered paper is from K&Co. SW Meadow Pad. I used a Martha Stewart Swirling Lace border punch all over this page. The bee and the title “Garden” are from Cricut Garden Soup cartridge. The beehive image is from Pooh & Friends.

Inspiration: I just used the colours of their outfits with the garden colours for this page. I also wanted to try a page without an insect for a change!

The scrapbook paper used on the background of this page is from Basic Grey Corn Husk and We R Memory Keepers Simply Spring. The floral frame paper is Authentique Charmed. The 2 geometric images are from Cricut Southwest. The flower image is from Botanicals cartridge and the frame is from Elegant Edges. The background circle was made with Martha Stewart Diamond Lace circle punch.

Inspiration: All the different colours of vegetation in the panoramic photo.

The scrapbook paper is from Me & My Big Ideas Cornucopia Paper Pad. This great caterpillar is from Cricut Garden Soup cartridge. The title “Awesome” is from Phrases. I used Kiwi Lane templates on this page and a flower border punch to mat the picture. I embossed, inked and lifted some of the images on this page.

Inspiration: The beautiful Asian Pagoda in this park in Vancouver, BC.

This scrapbook paper is from DCWV Far East Stack. The koi fish is from Cricut Art Nouveau cartridge. The large corner image and the border scroll image are from Picturesque. I inked, embossed and raised all of them off the page. I used a Martha Stewart geometric frames punch around the page set to frame the pics. I trimmed around the face of the lady and tucked the photo behind her.

Inspiration: These Monkey Puzzle Trees are only in warmer climates and I had only seen them while living in Vancouver. I think they should have been called Monkey Tail Trees.

The background scrapbook paper is from Paper Studio Murphy’s Square and the leaf paper is sei Bright Blossoms. The title “Monkey” is from Cricut Noah’s ABC Animals and the letters on Puzzle pieces are from Don Juan. The word “Tree” is from Sesame Street Seasons. The large leaf image is from Dino Tracks. I used Martha Stewart border punches to mat photos and Kiwi Lane templates.

Inspiration: I was so pleased to find this image of a globe for the photo of the wooden globe. Circles became the theme for this page.

The scrapbook paper is from DCWV Peachy Keen Stack. The wonderful statue holding the globe image is from Cricut Art Deco cartridge. The RHP frame is from Elegant Edges.  I used a Martha Stewart layered flowers circle punch for the peach circles and her swirling lace border punch for matting on the LHP. I used Kiwi Lane scallop templates for these pages.

Inspiration: The wonderful tree like art in the park.

This scrapbook paper is from DCWV Emerald Garden Stack. The branches are from Cricut Doodlecharms. The title “Trees Rule” is from Give a Hoot cartridge. I also used a Martha Stewart large Garden Trellis border punch for accents.

Inspiration: I had this pretty leaf paper and borders with peach accents like the trumpet flowers and thought this was the perfect place to use it.

This scrapbook paper is from Kathy Davis Journeys Pad in green. The large flourish is from Cricut Cindy Loo cartridge, cut at 10″ on a 24″ mat. I used EK Success Flourish Squares border punch and embellished with gem swirls. I lifted the leaf borders for a 3D look.

Inspiration: The photo of the crow that my husband captured!

This scrapbook paper is from Kathy Davis Journey Green paper pad. The great raven image and the crow on the fence are from Cricut Paper Trimmings, as are the corner images around the crow photo. I cut the fence on a 24″ mat at 5″. I used a Martha Stewart large heart punch for a border and to trim some pics.

Inspiration: The wonderful colours of the flowers in these photos inspired the use of this pretty floral paper.

The scrapbook paper is from Colorbok Bonjour Paper Pad. Such a simple and pretty page done with 2 frames and 2 border images from Cricut Elegant Edges. I also used a Martha Stewart floral punch for the black flowers on this page. This is the last page of this album of Van Dusen Botanical Garden.
