You will find travel scrapbook ideas in this album of the cruise port city of Kusadasi, Turkey and our tour was to the magnificent ruins of Ephesus from Biblical times.
The best shopping in Europe is in Turkey. Loved this place. Modern, clean and everyone spoke English.
Inspiration: We were serenaded with a band dressed in traditional costumes as we got off the cruise ship.
The scrapbook paper is from DCWV Taj Mahal Paper Pad. The title “Feel the Beat” and music notes are from Cricut Quarter Note
Inspiration: All of the palm trees in this pretty city of Kusadasi.
This scrapbook paper is from K&Co. Amy Butler Belle. I just made borders with my Creative Memories wavy trimmer.
Inspiration: All of the columns along the the grand main avenue of Ephesus.
The columns are from Cricut My World. I have to guess, but I think the scrapbook paper is from K&Co. Eco Modern Paper Pack.
Inspiration: The ruins of this magnificent fountain.
The scrapbook paper is from K&Co. SW Nature Paper Pad. The fountain is from Disney Dreams Come True.
Inspiration: The ruins are laying all over and are all marked and numbered because they are actually rebuilding parts of it.
The scrapbook paper is from Colorbok Earth Tones.
Inspiration: I had to use some blue since the sky was so dominant in these photos.
The scrapbook paper is from My Mind’s Eye Magnolia Paper Pad. I added the clay stones that our tour guide gave us.
Inspiration: OMG !! This building alone is worth a trip to Turkey. The library facade is almost totally rebuilt. It is currently 2 very tall stories high and is only missing one more level. The sand colour of the stone inspired the paper choice.
They rarely rebuild ruins, so it was wonderful to see it somewhat as it was. The scrapbook paper is from K&Co. Tim Coffey Tuscan Sunflowers.
Inspiration: Because this is a library, I used a book theme for the page.
These piles of books are from Cricut Locker Talk.
Inspiration: I wanted to use some colour, since i had already done 4 pages in the stone colour, so I went with the clothing colours.
This place was so impressive that I did not want to leave it. That is why we have so many pics of it. The scrapbook paper is from the great Lucky Flowers Paper Pad by K&Co.
Inspiration: After our tour, an acting company put a play for us depicting a scene from ancient times right there among the ruins. Their colourful costumes inspired my paper choice.
This scrapbook paper is from Mi Casa Paper Pad by DCWV.
Inspiration: The lady making Turkish carpets at the loom in this carpet shop.
There are no looms in Cricutland, so I settled for a needle and thread. The cushion she is sitting on and the needle & thread are from Cricut’s Disney Happily Ever After. I believe the scrapbook paper is from Me & My Big Ideas Renee Family Paper Pad.
Inspiration: The gorgeous silk and wool handmade Turkish carpets.
The scrapbook paper is from DCWV Taj Mahal Paper Pad. The carpets are from Disney Dreams Come True.
