Summer Day At the Beach

I don’t know where I found this scrapbook paper with the waves so I added waves from Summer Love to the Design Space layout. I found the wavy borders in Cricut Ribbons & Rosettes and cut them in 3 shades of blue for water. I then embossed them. The great frames are from Stretch Your Imagination. The title “Beach” is from Suburbia and the cutest pail & shovel image is from Simply Charmed. I added the flamingos for fun and a pop of colour.. They are from Life’s A Beach cartridge. I embellished this page with lots of gems for splashing and sparkling water.

What’s Cookin’

The scrapbook paper for this summer page is from American Girl Crafts Pad. The girls were playing cooking in the sandbox for hours, hence this theme. I used Kiwi Lane templates for the wavy borders. The children cooking silhouette is from Cricut A Child’s Year cartridge. The title is from 3 Birds on Parade. The pots and pans images are from My Kitchen. I stamped Peachy Keen faces on them.

Picnic In The Park

I found the perfect scrapbook paper for a summer picnic in Amy Tangerine On A Whim Pad. I also used a sheet of DCWV Photographic Paper of grass. The hat, the ants and the apple image with an ant are from Cricut Kate’s ABCs cartridge. The frames are from Elegant Edges. The Picnic title was a purchase from a craft store. I tried to recreate the printed paper in DS with several images. A cute summer page idea.

Workout At The Park 

The pretty colours and flowers on the girls dresses inspired the paper for this bright page. The background paper is from Be Bold, Be Bright by Paper Studio. The floral and other prints are from DCWV Haute Pink Stack. I trimmed a 3″ border along the top with a Martha Stewart border punch called Cherish. The photo frames are from Elegant Edges and all the workout equipment is from Creative Memories Total Sports.  The title “Gymnastics” is from Cricut When I Was a Kid cartridge.

Running Through The Sprinkler

I tried to create a summer backyard scene for this layout. The scrapbook paper is from Recollections At The Park Pad and DCWV Floral Fair Stack. I created a large frame to hold 3 photos along the top. The evergreen tree is from the Sesame Street Seasons cartridge. The leafy tree is from Cricut Disney Tinkerbell & Friends. The little pink bird is from Create a Critter 2. I found the sprinkler and the title “Water Fun” in H2O. The girl images were in A Child’s Year.

Farm Petting Zoo

The scrapbook paper for this page is from Colorbok Mint Julep Pad. I created a wide border along the bottom and trimmed it with a Martha Stewart border punch Flourish Lace. I used these animal and barn chipboard images that I have saved forever on this page. Since I did not use Cricut, I created a page in DS that is made with Cricut images.

Crafting with the Kids

All the grandchildren love to scrapbook and craft in my craft room. It made for a fun afternoon. This fun scrapbook paper is from Recollections Dreaming in Color Pad and the pencils are from Simple Stories The Reset Girl. I cut up the pencils into borders. I framed the photos with images from Elegant Edges. I used Cricut Everyday cartridge for the Cricut machine, Cuttlebug, the bug face, the title “Cricut”, and glue pen. The scissors are from The First Few Years. I added a Gorjuss girl stamp that I colored and cut out. The pencils for the DS page are from Lovely Floral.

Shooting Hoops on the Driveway

The girls were playing basketball on the driveway and the photos were just concrete and grass. I tried to create a better scene and the only other thing on my driveway was potted plants. I used Kiwi Lane here. The pretty paper is from Recollections At The Park Pad. The basketball net is an image from Pop Up Neighbourhood. The rectangle frames are from The First Few Years and the oval frames are labels from Winter Wonderland. The girl and the title “Let’s Play Hoops” is from Create a Friend. The two planters and flowers are from CTMH Flower Market.

Go, Go, Go

The girls were running up and down the hills of the dirt bike trails. I don’t know where they get all their energy. This scrapbook paper is from DCWV Chalk Fun. The title “Go, Go, Go” is from Nate’s ABCs. The title “Way To Go” is from “3Birds On Parade”. The pretty frame is from Elegant Edges and the flowers, which went well with the printed ones on the paper, are from CM Bits & Pieces cartridge.
